Maca Forte contains an excellent combination of natural products
that revitalizes the human body. The main component is the Maca root, which
according to preliminary studies is effective in combating anemia and in preventing
osteoporosis due to the alkaloid extracts that contain calcium. These two components
help activate the hormone calcitonin, which regulates the metabolism of calcium
and phosphorus in the blood, both of which are secreted by the parotid gland.
The alkaloids of the Maca root act on the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland
which secrete the luteinizing hormones and follicle stimulants (whose function

estrogen hormones. In preliminary studies the increase of estrogen was observed,

The Maca root also calms depressive states and can alleviate hot flashes that
occur during menopause or menstrual cycles. This is believed to be due to the

related to the functioning of the nervous system, which give an overall sensation

Any discussion of the properties of the Maca root must also include the almost
miraculous properties of the pollen. Of the 22 existent amino acids, about 20
are present in the pollen of the Maca root plant. Even thought the proportions
of contained substances in the pollen are very different from the tuber itself,
the pollen still contains all the proteins, amino acids, sugars, minerals and
vitamins and hormonal substances. In sum, the pollen contains all the indispensable
elements for the life of vegetable or animals organisms.
The pollination of the plants is the most important and vital function that
must be carried out if the Maca root is to be fertilized and to reproduce. In
this process, the pollen (masculine element of the flowers that contain spermatic
cells) is carried to the ovaries of the female plants. Their function is one
of generating new fruits and seeds and it is precisely there where it’s
extraordinary nutritious and therapeutic virtues reside. The pollen is transported
by bees from the male plant to the female in typical fashion.
The pollen can be considered an excellent dietary supplement, in view of the
